I am Kelly, the creator behind The Modest Modiste.
I live on a sheep and cropping farm in Coomberdale, in the North of the Western Australian Wheatbelt.
I turned to sewing as a way to work from home with my young daughter underfoot. Turning my long-time hobby into a small business journey.
Most days, you can find me sewing away in a corner of our tiny farmhouse.
I like making useful, practical things from quality fabric. My products are designed to be easy to use and long lasting.
Many of my fabrics are sourced from Red Tractor Designs and feature handmade art prints by Australian Designer, Rachael Flynn. Lookout for the RTD prefix to shop Rachael's designs!
Other fabrics are designed by independent international artists and sourced via Spoonflower.com. These are printed in Durham, North Carolina.
